O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is. Psalms 63:1

God told Jeremiah, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, that thou knowest not.”

There are those that are convinced that in the November election the Republicans are going to win the house and the senate and then they are going to make all things right. I hope they are right. I must admit I too believe this, {Not the all things right part} if the election is not corrupted by man or machine. The unfortunate part is that the left-wing radicals will still have the presidency.

There has been a cry from religious circles to pray to this end, that the Republicans will take back the house and the senate. It has been said, “Prayer changes things!” Actually what happens is that “Prayer changes people and people change things.”

The problem in our nation and our churches is that people have forgotten the difference between good and evil. Their minds have been blinded and they cannot discern between good and evil.

“He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their hearts.” John 12:40

“Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil.” Isaiah 5:20

That means that there are those, especially in high places that have completely negated {deny} the Word of God. They are of their father the devil and the lust of their father they will do.

Since we consider ourselves Bible believers and that the Word of God is our rule of faith and practice and we are to seek God early, it would behoove us to pray that God would change the wicked hearts of those that deny the truth now and not wait for the November election. The great apostle of the New Testament wrote, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the time of salvation.” II Cor. 6:2
