Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse…II Timothy 3:13

Some years ago five pastors in Houston, Texas were subpoenaed to turn over their sermons relating to homosexuality. The mayor was a lesbian. These pastors had made it known that the Word of God opposes homosexuality. This crowd for years now has tried to force acceptance of their lifestyle which is not a lifestyle but a death style. (Rom. 1:32) We thought this was a terrible attack on the church. We did not know what was about to happen. COVID

These happenings and many others are signs of the soon coming of the Lord. All of these things we see happening, {murder, suicides, child abuse, abortion, homosexuality, incest, transgender and all of the other wickedness are signs and preparation for the tribulation after the rapture of the Church. Rev. 6:12-17

The question before us though is how do we Christians deal with this wickedness? The answer is found in II Timothy 3:14, “But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.” We are to continue to stand on the principles and precepts of the good Word of God and defend our Christian heritage. We have no choice but to stand against sin and wickedness if we are going to be true to our Christian faith. This is one of the great problems in the church today. We do not want to call sin what it is. It is a transgression of the law of God. {I John 3:4} We are also told that we are to rebuke them. “Them that sin rebuke before all, that others may fear.” I Timothy 5:20

We Christians are to continue to stand against homosexuality and all other sin and wickedness because it is sin that separates between us and God.

There are some who have made some strong statements about God and His Word, evidencing that they are of their father the devil. However, that does not relieve us of the responsibility of faithfulness to God, His Word, prayer and our church. Do not be deceived my brethren; evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse.
