What can I do?

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

There have been several folks ask me what can they do? They wanted to know what they could do for their country, the church, their family and their brothers and sisters in Christ.

Brother James gives us a very good answer to this question. First we must confess our faults {that’s our sins}; this will get us right with God, then confess one to another; this will give us revival and then we must pray one for another; this will give us healing. This healing is not so much physical healing but spiritual healing, of which we need desperately.

Then he tells us that the effectual, or the prayer that gets through and is answered, is a fervent {intense} prayer of a man right with God. It does seem to me that Brother James is encouraging us to get right with our brothers and sisters in Christ so we can get right with God and get our prayers answered.

What can I do? Pray for repentance, sincerely and with a heartfelt desire to experience spiritual healing in our nation, our church, our home and in our persons.

For our nation to turn to God, for those in high places who are anti-Christ to be exposed, expelled and brought to their knees in repentance.

For our church to recognize our condition and position and repent.

For our homes {families} to cry out unto God for family healing spiritually.

For each of us to come clean with God about our relationship with Him and repent of our failings {sin} and beg Him to hear us one more time.

This is what we can do and must do if we expect God’s blessings again.
