Encouragement for the People of God

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

It is evident that we are living in perilous times when men turn their back on God and His church and live like animals. Their only concern is for themselves and gratification of the flesh.

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy”

Let not your heart be troubled my brother and sister in Christ. All of these things we see happening right before our eyes are within the confines of the word and the will of God. The underlying motivation for all of these things is that God might be glorified.

Let not your heart be troubled at the happenings in this world. They have no claim on us who have been born from above. This world is not our home; we are looking for a new heaven and a new earth.

We have the promise of God, “I will come again” and for the purpose of taking us unto Himself. We have the promise of God to come for us and to reward us for looking for His coming.

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them that love His appearing”

We can be encouraged because the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us.

Be encouraged! Jesus is coming soon!
