The love life is shown by a life of love

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation of our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

This passage of scripture is found in . It has to do with our love one for another and God’s love for us. If you notice carefully, you will see that God gave His only begotten Son for us that we might live through Him. We say we love one another, but I wonder if we really do understand what it means to love the life of another person.

God so loved us that He gave His only begotten Son. There are many who find it hard to be faithful to the church that Christ died for yet say they love God. There are many who say they are concerned about lost people but never cry out to God for their souls. There are many who allow their flesh to overcome their Spiritual good sense and forsake the God who loves them and has provided salvation for them.

If a man loves God, God’s love will be seen in his life by his actions. The love life is shown by a life of love. God so loved us that He gave His only Son; it would appear to me that if one really loved another, they would be willing to give a life of love.

I am grateful to God that He put in the heart and life of someone to come to me and love me enough to tell me that God loved me and gave His only begotten Son for me that I might be saved and go to heaven when I die. That is real love, the love for the soul of someone that you do not even know but you love their soul. How much more should we love those we do know and tell them that God loves them and gave His son for them to be saved.
